Bancassurance Unit Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and handle all operations and solve all matters related to Bancassurance.
  • Facilitate with information technology team on separate system design and development between bancassurance business and the MDI.
  • Monitor effective implement on communication mechanism between insurance company and MDI on customer complaint handling and claim request to ensure that separated consumer protection and appropriate complaint resolution relating to insurance.
  • Facilitate with cross functional team on process design, reporting, and data management to ensure its compliance with regulations (bancassurance and insurance) and risk management.
  • Facilitate the medium term business plan and annual operation plan for the company.
  • Facilitate the preparation of the marketing strategy, promotional campaign, marketing activities, message communication to market to ensure the mislead communication.
  • Initiate and monitor the incentive program, sale campaign, performance bonus for bank staff to ensure effectiveness of partnership
  • Responsible for regular settlement on the premium collection, commission, incentive and campaign with insurance company.
  • Works with training team and insurance company to ensure that staff who are in charge of insurance agent are competent to sale the product and explain proper and updated term and condition to clients.
  • Ensure that overall reputation risk of MDI are protected banking business being contaminated by any risks which may arise from insurance business.
  • Prepare the monthly report and quarterly report for management, regulator, and stakeholders.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Qualifications and Requirements:

  • MBA/BA in insurance, finance and banking, business management, or related field.
  • At least 3 year-experiences in business management.
  • Experience in insurance sector is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing relationship with business entities and individual customers.
  • Knowledge in insurance products, analytical, quantitative, problem solving, communication (written and verbal), presentation, relationship management skills.
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Integrity and hard-working.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
